This is my first painting from 2018.

I love her. She’s wild, unfiltered, and totally herself.

She reminds me of what it felt like to pick up a paintbrush for the first time since childhood. That nervous excitement of not knowing what would unfold.

I remember standing at the easel for long moments, just staring at the canvas, not knowing what to do next. I was looking for the muse.

I’ve been painting ever since.

There’s something about moving through dissociation, the inner critic, fear, and resistance... and plugging into my intuitive creative spirit. It deeply satisfies me.

Now I’ve developed my own methodology combining parts work and nervous system regulation with the painting process.

My next public class is on November 9th, a small group on Zoom.

We’ll work with a part of us that’s been taking over lately, and together we’ll move from BEING the part to being WITH it.

It can feel magical when we bring compassion to the parts we usually want to get rid of.

And for the part itself, imagine what it’s like to be met instead of managed, to receive loving attention instead of rejection. Maybe for the first time.

If this speaks to you, join me.
