Menopause Medicine - Painting Workshop
Menopause can feel confusing, frustrating and disorienting (or whatever you’re feeling!). Many of us are unprepared for the physical, sexual, mental, emotional, and identity changes it brings. This workshop offers a space to slow down, listen in, and discover where this life stage is leading you.
In this 6-hour online workshop, you’ll be guided through a transformative creative process blending:
Internal Family Systems (IFS) – a gentle, non-pathologizing way of meeting your inner parts
Intentional Creativity® – a layered, intuitive painting method using color, symbolism, and personal imagery to access your deepest wisdom
What We’ll Do Together
We’ll begin in a short circle to meet each other, connect, and set intentions. Then we’ll move into an afternoon of guided journaling and painting process that will include:
Discovering the parts of you most affected by menopause
(“I hate how I feel. I miss being seen in public. I feel fat, tired, and intolerant!”)Tending to these parts with compassion, curiosity, and care
(“Oh, you’re really struggling. I’m here with you.”)Hearing each part’s needs from its own point of view
(“You want me to go deeper into my wisdom and allow the grieving of what’s in the past. You want me to…”)Discovering the unexpected gifts and wisdom hidden in this transition — and anchoring them in your artwork as medicine.
You will be guided to paint every step of the process, translating your inner discoveries into colors, symbols, and forms on your canvas — and you will leave with a powerful talisman to support you as your journey continues.
